Should I leave my drink prices at $1?
$1 drink prices are a good transaction driver for my restaurant. I can make more money in the short term by raising the prices, but I plan to keep the restaurant for 20 years or more. How should I be thinking about this mathematically?
Hi.. I assume we are talking soda and sweet/unsweet teas. I charge 2.49 and is a good profit margin. I also give free refills. Not sure where you are located but in my area (CLT) people do not base their dining preferences based of the prices of the soda.. and if they don't like the price, they can get a free water. -Joel
