Successful profitable laptop business's - How you got it working?
The time is now - To ensure I'm taking action each and every day. I would like to surround myself with like minded people.
"It is the work of the team that determines success"
If you have the results of a profitable laptop business. I would love to hear your insights, your failures, some pivotal conversations you may have had with life coaches that really made you say - yeah that's possible. not only that it became reality.
I have many clients that are able to run their businesses from their laptops or tablets, and be anywhere in the world. Many of them can even get most tasks accomplished from their smartphones. Creating a mobile business is absolutely possible, and it keeps getting easier every day. Businesses that are a good fit for complete mobility are service oriented businesses, and online retail businesses. These kinds of businesses work very well for mobility, and don't require being tied to an office or retail store.
Some of the businesses I work with provide information to companies who need that information for internal use in their own businesses. That information is sent to those clients, which can be done from anywhere. For a service oriented business that requires you to physically meet with clients, the business can still be run as a mobile business. As long as you have a good Wi-Fi connection (usually from a mobile broadband device), you should have no trouble using your laptop, or a tablet, to get your work done. You can even accept payments, print reports, invoices, or receipts if you need to.
For online retail businesses, your online store can be set up to take in orders, and have those orders shipped out in a number of different ways. If you're selling a product made by someone else, there are dropshipping and other fulfillment services that don't require you to handle all of the packaging and shipping of items yourself. Even if it is your own product that you are selling, these types of services can still be used, and you would just need to prepare your products for them on a schedule you choose, based on demand.
If someone already has an office, or physical store, they aren't stuck. They can still set up their business to take advantage of being mobile. This allows them to get out of the office more often, and be more productive. Often they will be able to generate more business than before, because they have the freedom to go out and make new connections, while still being able to stay connected, and take care of the things they need to in their business.
For anyone thinking about what kind of business to start that will allow them to be mobile, I would suggest thinking first about what kinds of skills they have that could be used to start a service-based business. If not that, then think about something you can sell online, and go from there. Whatever the business, make sure it is something you will enjoy doing, and have an interest in. If it's something you enjoy, you won't mind working at it, and it is more likely to be successful for you.
