What are companies doing with Social Media?
If you are using Social Media Platforms in your company, what are your reasons? Are you just gaining followers, are you creating a CRM, are you in it for exposure? What are the tactics and goals for your Social Media Presence?
Social Media plays an important role for my company [ Agriya ] exposure towards others. You can easily able to communicate and share your innovative ideas and creations to your friends and clients through this. It also help us to get good reputation and suggestion from others which boost and encourage us to do even better.
Only one thing I would say ...Now a days customer wants to know about product /services /company before take/buy services and product of any company.
Social media is one of the best platform where companies promote their product / services and take review or comments from others also. It helps to find the customer choose the right product.
We use social media to properly target our niche and get a good exposure. Although the key to make social media work our way is to make sure that it is properly managed. It should carry the branding and the company image we want to portray thus generating better crowd and increasing our leads better.
I am part of the Social Media committee for 3 organizations and the lead on 2. One is the mentoring Arm of my Fraternity, (Guide Right) one is my Church, (First Church Hopewell) and the other is a start up E-learning organization that I am a principal in. (Everyday Intellect)
the primary focus of all is to gain followers and interest to that the organization so, as expected, each has an account with Facebook, You Tube, Google+ and Twitter, and is doing; however the need of some have called for a few different platforms
Guide Right uses a CMS website created and maintained through Joomla and does SpreeCasts for remote meeting between parents, our youth group members and representatives of Colleges thy might attend.

I have been using for Everyday intellect GroupMe mobile App and Google Hangout to interface with the various E-instructors and out leadership board, as none of us live locally

We use social media for B2B lead generation. Facebook and LinkedIn are great ways to build an onliine community who are intereted in your products and services. You want to drive your online community on your social network to a landing page on your website to convert them into a customer. Hi. I use Social Media for Targeting and Remarketing according to data regarding consumer profile, behavior, segmentation and affinity.
If there is a mathematical formula to describe the Social Media phenomenon it is N=1. In her, N stands to a variable number that is people like you and me. The number 1 represents, how you would like the communication to be. Details form the same add to something called in as Big Data Library. In here activities like a person views, presence, likes, people he/she interacts with are all captured.
Analysis of all these data give trigger factors as to why, when, how and where the customer/ prospect wants to do. Using the same can assist the person is the final goal.
