It is important to have a well thought out drip campaign of emails after a user signs up. This will keep them engaged. Also, encourage your subscribers to reach out to you with questions.

If you want to rank in SERP focus on providing high-quality content based on your focused keyword. Content is still the king in SEO, so focus on it. Domain authority or domain ranking may also help in ranking in SERP, but not promising. Domain authority is beneficial when you provide quality content, then it would be less difficult in ranking in SERP. So, mainly focus on giving quality content, then on link building. Currently, in 2020 it has been found that hyperlinks in PDF are going to have high SEO juice rather than other links.
To build backlinks the best way is to go for guest blogging. If you are unable to find blogs that accept guest articles then do a competitor analysis and do their backlink analysis, you will find many link from many articles that are pointing towards them. Some websites don't provide write for us section, in that case, use their contact email and outreach them and pitch your article idea.
Try to increase the traffic into your website by posting the articles on LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
The best way to attract using pictures and videos is by making use of slide share, Instagram and Youtube, this will help your brand to grow.

For me, the best practice to generate quality leads is always the quality service or quality content. Content is the king. If your website has quality content that people relate to or find it useful, you will get leads organically. You won't even have to invest much in SEO. Content is the driving force of the internet.
