What are the best web tools/mobile apps for productivity?
Which tools/apps will best enable me to start my own business and maintain a high level of productivity? Which do you prefer and recommend? I'm looking to start an app-development company and seem to be juggling 100 tasks each day.
Optimization or improvement of business processes are needed in completely different situations. When there are no reasons for special concern, but there are small annoying overlays and shortcomings in the activities of your favorite company: the goods arrive late, only a tenth of the negotiations end with the sale, etc. It seems to me that it is not just impossible to set up your business process without the tools from airslate
- Any.do is a collaborative (or personal) task-management app for iOS, Android, and Chrome.
- Boxer: Email is a persistent pain for a lot of people. Finding an email app that gives you the tools you need to help you better manage your particular inbox can make all the difference.
- Brewster is an excellent contact manager; if everyone used it, no one would ever waste any time cleaning up their address books.
- Do.com: Poorly managed meetings are a huge productivity killer, and that's where Do.com comes in.
- Doodle.com: Let's say you have five people and need to find a time and date to meet that works for everyone.
I've recently came across an article about the 10 tools that help your business work effectively, take a look at it https://www.comidor.com/en/blog/enterprise-collaboration/10-tools-that-help-your-startup-work-effectively
When it comes to productivity, I looked out at one approach that meets the requirement. I feel that the time is one of the major aspect of productivity aspect. And for that particular approach, the tool that I have been using for the productivity is the cloud based hours tracking software from Replicon. Along with the time tracking and management, the tool is also capable of managing the tasks and projects. Check it out here - http://www.replicon.com/
My top 3 tools/apps that I've been using for quite some time now are:
1. Zoho - offers a whole suite of apps including email, calendar, document creation tools, accounting, project management, etc. Many of these apps are free.
2. HelloSign - for electronically signing documents with clients.
3. Wunderlist - simple, but effective task list management app.
Bidsketch, Digg Reader, Basecamp, Pocket, Buffer and SugarSync are useful web apps for productivity.

There are several free or low cost solutions. The Google mobile apps are by far some of the best to assist with productivity on the go. Other options include DejaOffice which, if using Microsoft Outlook, can sync contacts, memos, calendars and task lists to your phone.
Bryan; Use a "To Do" list. Old fashioned paper and pencil works just fine. However, since you ARE starting an app-development company, I find using the to do list with a reminder on my iPad works well. A to do list, keeps you on track, focused and productive. If you have time management and lack of focus issues, hire a good coach.
Format Factor software to convert files from one version to another, irfanview is used to make the high resolution pictures to less so that it can be easily transferable...DAP downloader last but not the least add asap utility to Excel will help a lot
A lot of what will help depends on the nature of your business.
I've had great success with Basecamp for managing projects across a team or Todoist if it's just you running solo and you need extra organization.
Feedly and Flipbook are great sources for curating content and a basic spreadsheet can help you establish a good starting point for a social media calendar. I set aside a small block of time two days out of the week to review Google Alerts for relative topics and curate content that I schedule to share with BufferApp for the coming days/week.
Committing time to social media every day is important but can be overwhelming if you are trying to keep up with daily posting/activity goals. I've been trying out Commun.it to keep up with engagement on Twitter.
I recently trained a new sales team at a small call center for Pipedrive which is a great resource if you need an affordable and effective CRM.
Write yourself a simple MS access Database or get a qualified student to help you. Record all of your tasks and sort each by a,b or c. a- important, b- necessary, c- should do. Then use a "do by" date field. This will generate you a daily report on your work load. Also include all of your customers data this will compile you a living database of clients linked with the appropriate task, general tasks are as the are called and stand alone. Remember garbage in garbage out so make sure your data model functions for your specific task listings or the database will get too large to handle and make it difficult to manipulate the reporting functionality. You will also build a brilliant mail merge system for mail shots and yearly events such as Christmas cards fo customers etc.. Good luck.

Let's you create rules for actions that you do all the time.
I used Evernote back in college for a lot of stuff and google drive is always good - easy to share. You should use something like github as well if you are doing code, depends on what kind of information you are trying to share. You should also try to find a lucidchart like app cause flow charts work really well for explaining things.
I too use Drop Box and Evernote and a conference call product called Zoom. It's better than Skype when you have multiple folks joining the call.I hope this helps and thanks to everyone adding the things they use and like as well. There was a lot of "stuff" that I'd never heard of at all.
There are a few that are necessary.
1. TurboScan is a phenomenal app for scanning and creating pdf's. I use this everyday.
2. Zoho Invoice is great if you are creating invoices. It controls expenses, hours and creates invoices for you to send directly to any contacts you have created in the app or have on your phone or device.
3. Pages, Keynote and Numbers are great too if you are a Mac user. These are great for creating quick decks, advertising campaigns and more.
4. SignNow is another app that is really great for signing documents on the move and they create a copy on your device or in the cloud. They also can send pdf's of the document to anywhere as it links to your email. Pretty cool.
Short and sweet - TimeTrade. It is my go-to for setting appointments of all kinds. No longer am I chasing anyone around to set an appointment.
In my opinion, EVERNOTE is the great one to be a good example of productivity app....and another one to follow a data visualization, consulting ROAMBI ....this app is excellent to created and demonstrate data graphics evolutions....
I actually use quite a few as with having 3 companies that do 3 different industries... being connected and being productive on the move is a must for me.
My DAILY list of apps are...
Evernote
iCloud / iWork
Bitrix <-- By far the best CRM for sales I have found.
iSource <-- Fugly iSource Reader
Uber <-- Keep me on the Move
HootSuite
Wordpress
Printer Pro
Analytics
Dropbox
Drive
BI
Feedly
Pocket
Small list but it keeps me INKOTG (in the know, on the go).
: )
I also use 3 other Apps, but seeing as though they were made by me, I thought it might be a little ugly publicising it myself. ;)
