What contact management application are you using?
I would like to get some advice on contact management software people like using. I am looking for a simple system, nothing fancy. Nothing like a CRM system.
Open ERP has choices that might fit your needs. CRM is one component. Also, SharePoint has free version that might suite your needs.
I use ACT as a stand alone since I am the only user.
For my automated email and auto-responder systems, I use Ontraport and Aweber.
Others that I have used in the past include Goldmine, SalesForce and SugarCRM.
You say NOT like a CRM...
What exactly do you need this "software" to do?
I ask as I used to be with Sales Force, but for the investment I just didn't see the benefits.
We just decided to try out Bitrix24 (I know its a stupid name, I didn't choose it ) and so far it's going well.
I have 3 companies, all very different, and all fit very well into their CRM.
I've used proprietary "home built" systems provided in larger companies and also Sales Force and ACT. If you need to distribute the information and make it available to a team, then Sales Force works well. If I was doing it for myself to stay organized, I'd probably go with ACT. It's easy to learn and use, and has letter and email templates built. I'm not familiar with Nimble CRM. Also check out www.softwareadvice.com/crm
We use Kentico and have been very pleased with it for our own site and our clients. There are multiple licences to cater to different needs and functionality. Would recommend looking into it.
nimble CRM - reasonable - good support - evolving - social oriented - api with various connected tools - easy to learn / good u-i etc. hope this helps.
