What is the best way to attract visitors to your blog?
We all know there are 10's of millions of people online, but getting the right type of visitors to your blog can be very difficult, without having to spend lots of money advertising, have you arrived at a good way of attracting the right visitors to your own blog?
Great question Michael, I have the same questions. How can we attract the right visitors to our blog with millions of people online. It;s a lot of clutter to get through. The answers were really helpful.
There are many steps involved for boosting website traffic, we use link building on many websites where users move to our website, directory submission is very useful tool for traffic increment. Press release and E-mail marketing is wonderful way to announce others about your blog or website. All these steps are used for boosting website traffic. You can also hire someone from SEOClerks, to increase the traffic.
I don't spend any money on advertising my own agencies website, but I'm ranked extremely high in my country.
I did (and this may sound against the grain here) everything offline.
I was invited to help with Startup Chile. University speeches, Expo's, and various other things. This led on to more and more visitors coming to my site.
Anyone on a website can be the BEST, and PASSIONATE... they are buzzwords that a lot of people overly use to shout out.
Actually putting yourself in the light, and speaking with people shows that you truly are passionate and want to help. Small difference, but it makes THE difference.

Content and keywords. Period. I don't know if anything else works, and that's saying something.
There are so many ways to do that. My personal experience tells me the following:
- Get your content into circulation. Think of your blog as an online magazine
- Use powerful, compelling, keyword-rich titles
- Make it easy to subscribe to your blog
- Update your network with your post
- Have social buttons for each post
- Leave intelligent comments on other blogs. Meaning you borrow someone else’s audience
- Tag Your Posts
- Linkbuilding
To name a few things.
Content is King! You most know who your readers are and then create the content for them. I assume you are already an expert in your field so creating the content will not be a problem. After that, start posting on forums that talk about the topics you cover, post to your facebook page, twitter, etc. You will have to do a lot of promoting at first. Also make sure that your blog is SEO friendly, of course that is easy if using Wordpress or other pre-buildt plataforms. Make sure that you tag each article correctly so Google cand pick your posts.
I would say the best way to attract visitors is by putting out information that is happening today, use colorful images that draws attention. Have informative information, about what is going on in the target audience that you trying to capture.
Caribbean Greetings. You can master the 'blogosphere' and increase your brand value, by making sure to provide helpful information to customers and by updating your blogs frequently, so customers have a reason to return. Also add links within your blog posts pointing back to other important pages that will help your rankings and attract visitors. You can also engage visitors in a dialogue. filter out spam and profanity and encourage comments, views and opinions without moderating them too much. Every blog article and post is an SEO opportunity and each keyword or phrase should be within the first sentence or two of your blog. Also by running promotions/contests on your blog, you can make offers that match your audience needs/wants and bring your customers back for more. Hope this helps you alot and wishing you much success in your business.
I have used 'Mail Chimp' over the last few months and it has served me well. First create a list (email address) that you want to send out the articles to. Then create a campaign that includes a blog/home page. There are tutorials and videos to view first.
Video communication! Videos get businesses quickly on the 1st page of Google, other social media like LinkedIn. Videos increase "click through rates", video emails get opened more than your text email...How about video blog? Whatever you do, make sure a video element is in it.

You have to let people know your blog is out there! Forgive me for sharing an answer I just posted to another question but: "I definitely recommend starting a blog on your website, and a blog on Wordpress.com as well. Post your articles on both sites, and set them up to share to all your social media channels. Be sure to include LinkedIn as one of your channels. Besides LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, also consider sharing on the American Express Open Forum, EvanCarmichael.com, Slideshare and Pinterest. You may be surprised about the last two but trust me, they work!"
Having great content is key. Search engines look for good content. Try thinking through the topic, structure, etc...
Also promote your site on FB, Twitter, email blasts, etc....draw it from all angles.
Inquiries are the usual method of interaction because of the subject matter expertise required. The general public and most business management does not fully understand risk management, internal controls, or fraud investigation. All three subject matter areas are interrelated and affect all businesses large and small. Typically these subject areas are handled by different professionals whereas I am providing a "one stop shop"
Marketing your blog to maximize your efforts can be a daunting task. I have a great option for you to investigate that will grow your business.

Like anything else in life to attract attention you need to do something different. When it comes to blogging it's like a good book - what sells a book is 3 things: (1) the title, (2) the cover, and (3) what's on the inside flap. With blogs you need to incorporate all three, but most importantly the title has to be the "hook" a la "how to develop a winning business plan". The key word here is WINNING ! It's like SALE - who can resist it?
Join many professional and social networks, contribute to articles, write and publish articles, comment on another's works. Best of luck!
Yeah you need to do social media marketing for your blog. According to my opinion it is one of the best way.

Create a discussion around a topic or subject that information is not readily available on the internet. Try and be specific and specialise in an area that you want to generate interest and relations in.
No good offering whats available everywhere!
Try and pick subjects that have been off the radar (in terms of when they were last discussed), associate your self with professionals who know the subject/topic you are discussing.
Having a practical explanation on hand, and examples may well help you form
new connections.
