I once asked a restaurant owner: "How's business?"
He said: "Food good, service good, business good!"
Ensuring good service will ALWAYS lead to good profit, presuming there is also good management.
Without good service, we cannot hope to achieve good profit. Good service, no matter the price, is what customers want and look for in working with providers or purchasing products. Good service across an organization impacts how well any business performs.
Hope this helps.
Without a strong service offering even if the business offering is new and exciting, has no competition and gets off to a great profitible start; it will not have a sustainable customer base and the business will languish.
I think service and profit are at the same level! no service= no profit, no profit= no sevice! you need money to provide service to keep your business making profit/money ...
I tend to believe in good customer service and that wil help you create a great business that will lead to strong profits. However, there are some companies that provide very little customer service and focus on profits. So, I think it really depends on the business. If you are focused on fewer customers at higher fees, then customer service is critical. If you are focused on a larger number of customers at lower fees, then maybe service is less important. Again, I personally favor strong customer service either way.
Ensure a good service and you'll get a good profit. So yes, the more important is to ensure a good service.
