What is your favorite project management technique to use and why?
What is your favorite? Kanban, Scrum, Waterfall, Agile? Also, I'd like to hear why you like that particular technique and how it is used in your business.
I find an excellent technique is overcoming objections. Everyone has them . I never give up . I have a way with words that people understand firm but kind and brutally honest. It's all about identifying problems and putting systems in order. Of course prioritizing and continue to brainstorm with solutions
Hi Irvine.
Honestly, I believe every answer to this question would be subjective and can vary based on factors like, the project manager's style of working, the nature of collaboration with your client, whether or not your client has a clear picture of what the app should be, etc. Also, I find the best results come from PMs who are able to switch between techniques, as per their team's preferences and skill set. Some teams can get the job done better using Waterfall, while others might be more effective using Scrum.
A lot of factors to consider here, before an object ranking of techniques can take place.
That said, in our app development company, we tend to use Agile more frequently than any other method. That's mostly because it facilitates transparency in the project's overall progress at all times, and enables us to accommodate changes, updates or any other form of client feedback, at any stage. As a result, our clients stay happy, and so do we.
Hope this helps!
