What is the best way to present my services to captivate interest?
What are some aspects to incorporate in my message that would be most appealing or important to someone that is looking to invest marketing dollars in an integrated marketing campaign?
To figure out the messaging you need, you need to start by truly understanding your buyer personas or target market/buyer.
I suggest developing buyer personas. These are fictional representations of your target customer. Personas highlight and document the who, what, where, why, behaviors, topics, keywords ect of each of your typical/target customers.
What are the problems they are solving with your products or services?
What type of messaging do they respond too?
Depending on your business, you may have one or more buyer personas.
Learn and document as much as you can about your buyer. Go out and talk to potential customers. What are they struggling with that you can provide a service to solve? If you've had success with a specific messaging approach for a specific type of buyer, add that to your personas.
The more you understand them, the better you will be able to incorporate the right messaging on your website, in your emails and marketing campaigns.
Figure out who you are looking to sell to and where and then spend a little money on some facebook dark posts. You can probably get them for under $1/click. Spend $100 to get the clicks and see what 100 people do when they get to your page. Measure their actions and see what your conversions are. After that you will know more about your business than you thought you did.
Jason, you have to start by knowing what your target market is looking for.
Write a list of problems your target market is looking to solve.
- Bring these problems to your reader's attention.
Write a list of available solutions.
- Tell my why your solution is a better choice.
Write a list of frustrations your target market is facing.
- Tell me how you're going to eliminate those frustrations.
Write a list of objections that would keep your customer from buying your product.
- Overcome each objection by educating your readers about your unique solution.
The number one reason why people aren't buying your product is unanswered questions.
Don't sell anything to your list, just educate them and answer their questions and cover any reason why they would not purchase by providing educational resources.
You can also use the goggle keyword planner to find real world market demand and questions people are searching for relating to your product/niche. Use this tool to uncover popular questions and issues your target market is facing. Your want to dig deep with your research and uncover related questions and research topics so you can create more educational resources for your prospects.
When you write your emails, make them short and sweet, no longer than one or two paragraphs. You then reference your educational resources by dropping a link to a blog post or video you created to give your products more information. So your email doesn't have to actually educate them, just present the problem and a link to the content with the answer.
Again DON'T SELL, just provide answers with links, and a soft call to action like, get a free trial, create a free account, or free demo.
Your target customer has questions, the more answers you provide, the closer you get to the sale.

Christopher, Thank you for the insight and suggestions. I do some of those things currently and know I can still improve. Your point about being consultative is something that I pride myself on. I learn about my prospects current strategies and explain to them how working with me can fulfill those needs. It isn't so much getting their interest in how the services can help them but more getting an initial response to my outreach or cold call. I am fairly effective but always looking to increase efficiency. Thanks again.
One way to be more efficient is creating custom follow up sequences based on your prospect's reaction to your suggested offers. You can set up your marketing automation strategy with Infusionsoft if you have the budget for a premium tool. That way you always have a plan b, and plan c when navigating your prospects through your sales funnel.
I apologize for not being more specific. When I say incorporate in my message I mean when I send out emails to potential clients about my companies services and how they can benefit from working with us. What information would be most important to include in that messaging to maximize the response.
