What is the real way to increase traffic (SEO)?
Everyone, share tips about on/off page activity. Daily, I do work for on-page and off-page but I still could not generate traffic. Please give me suggestions to get more traffic to my website.
I see that this is an old question, but my colleague Matt D'Angelo recently wrote an insightful piece on the topic for Business.com. The article can be found here: https://www.business.com/articles/top-seo-tips-smb-authority/.
Of the tips mentioned in the piece, being wary of SEO "experts" is maybe the most important. There are thousands upon thousands of digital marketers out there who pretend to be SEO experts but lack real knowledge about the subject. If you do pay a digital marketer to help increase traffic via SEO, make sure you're working with a qualified expert. Take the time to vet their credentials.
Another important tip in the article is creating authentic content. If your business has a blog, don't post all the time about your products. Instead, write meaningful pieces that can entertain and inform readers. This helps build brand credibility and shows that you aren't just trying to sell your products to customers. Being genuine over a sustained period of time will help your business tremendously, even if you aren't always showing up on the first page of Google search results. As Matt mentions in the piece, it's also a good starting point to check out Google's SEO guide for beginners: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/7451184?hl=en

Some of the more recent changes to the algorithm are taking into account how useful the site is by tracking secondary searches to the same keyword and bounce. Said another way, if a person clicks your site from the SERP and likes your site, this is good.
Two ways to focus this is by:
1. improving the landing page in design, really good content high up on page and UX. This seems obvious and old advice, but if taken seriously (multivariate testing, deep analytics) it helps.

This is kind of a million dollar question that everyone keeps asking these days. But it is good that you have asked.
According to me and from my experience, there are two major factors. If I can say off-page SEO. On-page SEO is pretty much covered, if you run on Wordpress or similar and have a good theme to support.
For off-page SEO is the biggest factor that builds TRUST in eyes of all major search engines.
1. It depends on the content.
If there is a lot of competition in your content niche..let us say "Blogging tips". Then it becomes tough. There are way too many sites focusing on it and all of them are trying hard as we speak and write. There are pretty established branded big players with money and content muscle.
My suggestion is to focus on subjects, 'You are passionate about'. It could be even 'Bicycle riding'. Develop your own niche. Become an expert and an authority in it. Take it on a month on month basis with slow gradual improvement.
2. Focus on natural link building.
You need to earn your links. In other words, your links need to be editorial links on highly related sites. The highly related site, needs to be of higher authority than yours. Better that way. When people recognize your high quality content and expertise, they naturally want to cite you (Your website) as part of their content.
Also, build a great social media profile of your website with followers on a couple of major social media platforms. Keep it alive and kicking.
There are no short cuts. Focusing on building TRUST.
My best wishes.
