What is the most efficient way to reach out to sales decision makers of small and medium-sized businesses?

We have launched our web application which is a SaaS based AI powered virtual email assistant. The product acts like an email autoresponder and scans incoming sales related email inquiries and sends a unique, customized email response.

We are planning to reach out to the decision makers of small and medium-sized businesses in the US. We are categorically looking for companies involved in selling products and not services.

I am more than keen to learn from anyone about their experience, especially someone who has been there and done that.

Okay, you are a product guy. I can tell because you say "web application which is a SaaS based AI powered virtual email assistant. The product acts like an email autoresponder and scans incoming sales related email inquiries and sends a unique, customized email response."

That does me no good because that's a description of what the product does. But, so what? What benefit does it actually have to the user? What problem does it solve?

You've developed a product that you think is cool and people will like. But, until you can answer the "What problem does it solve" question you don't have a business. So, the answer to your question is this: figure out the problem you solve, then go find people with that problem.

PS: The phrase "reach out" although quite popular is redundant. It is impossible to "reach in"
