What's the best VoIP solution out there, for business?
Something that provides multiple extensions, call forwarding, free 800 number, and the whole package at a great price? (I have used Vonage, but they don't offer extensions.)
Try TelecomRecycle.com. Telecom Recycle is a leading IT asset and disposition company specialized in buying and recycling of redundant business telephone systems and handsets.
Hi. In Brazil, you can use Nvoip (https://www.nvoip.com.br). They offer tollfree numbers, PBX Functions and you can create unlimited extensions (users). they have international numbers, but the focus is on Brazil.
Farzad, There's a number of great solutions out there. As with all things, the answer is as complex as your needs are. The company I work with has a fantastic VoIP platform that is very cost-effective and delivers great value... for the right customer segment.
Every technology provider has certain markets and/or verticals that they service better than others. It's important that the company you work with do a full needs-assessment.
Sadly, many companies will represent themselves as the solution for everyone and/or anyone... but leave a lot of holes in their service that you discover down the road because their only goal is to get a sale... they don't worry about the long-term fulfillment.
That's why I enjoy working with Crexendo. We're not for everyone... only those that want a partner more than a simple provider.
Hi, Farzad. For a good solution, I would recommend RingCentral or Grasshopper. Both systems are easy to set up and use, have good prices, and offer a number of features you're looking for. I hope this helps!
We're a business-class voip company, so we have definite opinions, but we're admittedly biased. Our bias starts with the fact that we're PRO Entrepreneur, and works from that to technology. We think low capital investment and cost savings should be at the core when building a product. For that reason, we've fine-tuned an approach using refurbished Cisco phones combined with open-source, hosted PBX. The result is what we consider the highest functioning system possible at the lowest cost (every feature mentioned below plus vFax, e911 etc).. We're quite a departure from Vonage in terms of quality and features, and yet we scale in terms of cost much better than they do. Something similar to what we offer is best. We service the entire US.

A business VOIP phone system can reduce your monthly phone bill tremendously compared to a traditional business phone system. A business VOIP solution can be a hosted PBX system, as well as an on-premise PBX solution. Below are sponsored listings of business VOIP providers in a comparison table.
This site gives you an "apples to apples" comparison of VOIP services for business (http://business-voip.choosewhat.com/)...but I would recommend starting here to identify the specific extensions you need for your business- http://business-voip.choosewhat.com/key-features
best to have your own pbx in your office, there are so many opensource pbx available in internet like asterisknow ,elastixs , piaf, sipx
no license , no limitataions .
no need of much hardware ,just a server or good config pc required or a virtual host enough .
There are several solutions that might suit your needs, but the best option is to look at a virtual pbx solution. There are hosted cloud solutions, and options to build your own server...I even remember hearing about an open source possibility in this space, but I cannot remember the project name...message me if you want me to look that up.
I recommend RingCentral to all of my clients. Easy set up, very reasonable pricing, all the great features you are looking for; Toll Free number, fax number (included in plan), extensions, call forwarding (love the fact you can forward to your cell phone and put a special code in front of incoming number so you know it's a transfer call). I've been using them for years and have at least 5 clients that use them ...all very happy!
I looked at AvayaLive-Connect last year when it was a beta product and I was very impressed. The solution is live now and is cloud based and equipment free. It has everything that you are looking for and some things that will make your company appear very cool to employees, potential employes, customers and partners.

I am sorry I do not have direct experience with the solution, but Avaya is a very good company. I am ex-Cisco so it is not easy for me to say that. :)
Good luck!
I agree with Carolyn, RingCentral has good features at a good price, and it's easy to setup and use.
