Where can I get a free or very affordable online signature service?
I'm trying to find an online signature service that will do the job, either free or very affordable. Does anybody have any idea of where I can find such a thing? Looks like I'll have to have something.
If you need a signature service that will be representative of your business - go for paid and don't shy away from paying the market rate.
Your business will pay in regrets for being percieved as not concerned for high security.
Hi Larry, have you tried the HelloSign Chrome extension? I haven't tried it yet, but heard it's really easy if you are getting most of your documents through Gmail.
Remember that old saying, "you get what you pay for"? Well, it rings true when it comes to services. That said, I use HelloSign for my business. If does not go through gmail, it's a stand alone product. They may have some freebie level where you can get a couple things signed a month, but I pay for the service. It works well and it works well for our clients.
I use DocuSign which has a free service and does have paid options.
I assume that this is a service that allows you to send e-documents to people/members of staff then have proof that they have read and signed? If so, I use "Docusign" in organizations that have remote workers to ensure evidence that people have read documents for their training record, to ensure ISO compliance. The entry level is only a few dollars/pounds per month. Hope this helps.
If you only need to electronically sign a few documents per month, then there are several free options. I've been using HelloSign for many years for electronically signing almost all of my documents between clients. HelloSign is free for 3 docs/month. The paid version starts as ~$13/month if paid annually. HelloSign integrates with most doc sharing/storing platforms such as Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive so that all signed docs are automatically stored in the cloud. Other options that are affordable include EchoSign and DocuSign.
I highly recommend FORMALITI ...http://www.formaliti.com. Please speak with Craig or Geri and let them now that I sent you. Cheers
Here is my comment - in usual controversial fashion. When I read 'I need for free' - normally I skip and avoid giving an answer. Reason: "People who want something for free, usually don't deserve it". Is there 'free milk', 'free housing', 'free Internet', 'free food' ?? No! - but yet - some people believe that there are developers and companies who are provide 'free' software. There are GNU licenses (if you understand what this means) - but free? If you find a petrol station selling 'free fuel' - it is most likely water...Get a good software product for the purpose, pay the fee and you will be looked after.
Apart from that - Docusign is free - and can be googled?
Not impressed with question...
If you are talking about signing contracts, check out EchoSign. They have a free tier which is very good for small businesses. https://www.echosign.adobe.com/en/home.html
Larry, what are your current choices and how expensive are they? If I remember correctly, you can get something for about $19 per month per person. Is that too expensive?
If you are looking for bare bones, Adobe offers a sign it option when reviewing PDFs.
Echosign, Docusign or HelloSign (for Gmail). I think each have their free versions for low usage.
