Where do I find affiliate partners?
I have developed an online coaching program for young professionals. I am ready to offer excellent commission, but I am wondering where I could find suitable partners.
Ashok..... what I would do is:
- Make a list of all of the types of service and product providers that service those young professionals, as well as those that support those young professionals - companies, bosses, etc.
- Include also other training and personal/professional development coaches and companies....that may not be doing what you are doing, but want to expand their offerings to their customers
- Partner up with leadership, MBA, or other programs
- Identify authors, speakers, radio hosts, etc.. who write or talk about topics young professionals would be interested in.
- Are the young professionals in a certain industry, segment, capability area - cover those.
This would require online research, leveraging LinkedIn to find prospective affiliates, etc...
Of course, you would also want to have your website represent the affiliate program, providing all of the details and allowing folks to sign up right there.
If you need more ideas, let me know.
Good luck....and great job focusing on young professionals!!!!

I would steer clear of WarriorForum if I were you, there's very much an "us and them" feel about it and you need to actually befriend someone fairly high up over a lengthy period of time to have a successful launch there (and you actually have to partner up for them to do it meaning you'll lose a percentage of your profit, usually 50/50).
There are other affiliate networks out there though, just search for "Affiliate networks for digital products". One of the biggest and most well known is Clickbank but I believe they have a condition that coaching is not allowed (there's been a lot of scammers out there coaching over the last 5 years).
You could also take it in-house and set up your own affiliate system using HasOffers as a backend framework, but you'll need to get the leads yourself through networking, at least that way, you decide the commission structure.
Finally, another option to consider, and best in terms of ease, is an actual coaching/mentoring community.
There are plenty of companies that do affiliate marketing. One is Walla Media that has a tremendous amount of expertise supporting them. Depending on your price point, if you have any additional media or PR that you are doing, etc., and what your AOV (Average Order Value) is (which should already be established as well as your sales volume) and any type of demographic and sales history - would help you execute a fair deal. Keep in mind that that it is very difficult to get someone to spend their money on your advertising so you have to have an amazing Value Proposition to get an affiliate company with integrity behind you. Watch your back as there are a lot of "bad seeds" in the affiliate world.
Couple ideas to help with affiliate marketing. Affilorama - http://www.affilorama.com and Clickbank are two resources that I have worked with. Good luck!
Initially target market through social media or linkedin. Search for those in related businesses that already have a client base that could be looking for additional services to offer.
You would be able to get response from prospective partners if you post your query on face book /linked in.
You can contact teachers either of schools or the tutorials instructors.. They might have ample opening and wud be comfortable with the alternate earning.
Hi Ashok, probably the best place to find people is the Warrior Forum. The best way to attract their attention is through your launch, and the platform that I've most hear recommended by those at the top is JVZoo. I don't know if it's a suitable platform for your product, but it's a great way to test and tweak your product, and the Warrior Forum is home to some exceptionally high calibre affiliates. Good luck :)
I am in the same basic business. Unfortunately, the market for these kind of personal branding services is extremely competitive with many varieties of "life coaches" pitching their services 24/7. In this highly competitive online market the chance of finding a suitable partner is like looking for a needle in a haystack. I have partnered up with a group of tech-savvy recent graduates who already have access to the population that I am interested in so I am basically piggy-backing on their existing customer base. Good luck.
You can find some of the top affiliate marketers and JV Partners in the Warrior Forum. http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-joint-ventures/
I think affiliate partners are available on different sites like linked-in . their are many sites ,you have to search for it .
You shall begin by designing the exact profile you're looking for, listing requirements and skills.
After, the easier is to generate a lead thanks to social network (professionnal of course)
And now, the last step, you approach them, check their profils, experiences ...
And it's done !
Good Question. Honestly, I dont have any knowledge of where to find an AM partner. When I first became an AM I was searching for someone to partner up with and to this day i never found that person. People were always trying to get me to purchase their so-called successful programs but no one ever wanted to partner. If you find a place where AM can find partners please inform me.

Well, you can find many affiliate networks at offervault.com easily,
Thanks for great inputs, Bernadette. You have written, "If you need more ideas, let me know." I say, why not? While all ideas are relevant, some would be more effective than others. So, having a still wider choice is a good idea indeed !
