Where do you source your social media content in the age of COVID?
Interested in what people are doing to find content for their social media pages or websites. Are you meeting with photographers? Finding them online? Recycling old content? How can you keep social media pages active and fresh?
I think you can create content by yourself.
For example, you can write articles or create informative/educational videos and post them on your organization’s website and social media sites. It’s important to understand your audiences’ information needs. If you can post content which can help your audiences, they will appreciate.
Hope this helps!
Everything in the world is affected in some way or the other. Social media marketing is not any different to be not impacted from COVID-19.
The impact can be both positive or negative. But again it depends on how it affecting any situation.
With lockdown in place engagement on social media platforms has increased exponentially, it may be fruitful times for brands to create and convert more audience with their content.
But negative impact is directly affecting the sales of services and products, as the data suggests sales have plummeted. In addition to that companies have to provide benefits and salaries to their employees, pay rent of their offices.
Brands cannot continue to invest in social media content creation and advertising. Hence, which will eventually impact social media channels if the situation around the world continues.
I use a service that allows me to create my content a month at a time. We do not recycle old content as a rule. There is always fresh content. The rule of thumb in social media is 80/20 - 80% other content, 20% business content. Your goal is to share content that your customers can relate to...funny memes you may see (make sure they are appropriate though) and cute pictures, recipes, positive quotes or pictures, and best of all tips which I love a lot but customers also love quizzes and fun things as well. Make sure to mix up your content. You can build that content on social media pages like pic collage, pizap, canvas, photo collage, layout, and many more. There is tons of resources to making pretty social media content...for your pictures they don't have to be professional you can take them on your iPhone and then upload them, crop them remove the background and throw them into a social media post after you make something pretty out of it on some of those apps I listed above.
