Which email platform is better: MailChimp or Constant Contact?
There seem to be a lot of options for email marketing and I've narrowed it down to MailChimp and Constant Contact. Does anyone have experience with these tools and if so, which do you recommend. Thanks.
These will perform the same. Your message is the biggest factor...the tool you use is irrelevant. I'd liken it to which brand of hammer you want to pound that nail in with. You may have a personal preference, but they both get the job done.
I am new to MailChimp but am really liking it. I was using eventbrite to promote my monthly events but they were limiting how many emails I can send out on a daily basis.
I have been annoyed by more messages sent with Constant Contact than those sent with MailChimp. Not real scientific, but it is the reason I keep using MailChimp and I have had good responses from my campaigns.
I have clients that use them both and as their administer for their accounts they both offer specific tools that help us with our email objectives. I will say - MailChimp seems to be more intuitive to my design needs.
I've used both in the past and preferred MailChimp. We've since moved on to using a platform intertwined with our Marketing Automation software. From time to time, even with the higher end software, my team and I have found ourselves saying "I wish (our current automation software) did this like MailChimp did."
That being said, both are solid products. It really depends on the needs of you and your team and the user interface. It could work for everyone else but if it doesn't work for you, neither tool will be effective.
I really like MailChimp, though I find you have to be careful when uploading a CSV full of contacts as it can go through a lengthy approval process! Especially if it is a dated list, or could perhaps have fake emails in. Just something to be wary of.
I am using MailChimp, I feel mailchinp is the most flexible and user friendly email marketing platform that we can use online...
I prefer you to use MailChimp which works so good for us. Why i am suggesting this is because you can able to track the deliver report of sent emails, spam count, Mails sent , mails opened and percentage of successful mails from the total.
i used in my experience MailChimp and i think that it's the best solution for email marketing. Try also to use hubSpot suite.
Jen ...It comes down to what you goals are and what your budget is.
I agree with Julie that it is best to use a service that will maximize your investment. That typically leads you to multi-feature tools like marketing automation.
Then the question becomes which multi-feature tool — there are over 30 such platforms — is best suited to your situation. I don't know if anyone can give you an appropriate recommendation without fully knowing your goals and situation — and what space (B2C or B2B) you're in.
