Which organizational software do you recommend?
I am looking for software to assist me in organizing my sessions better - one to manage my appointments, classes, bookings and probably accounts.
I came across this article which I believe might help you making up your mind on how to select the right CRM software. Have a look: http://www.ryanformayor.com/3-features-to-analyse-when-shopping-for-crm-software/
Caroline, in case you're still looking, I found a free trial of of some ACT! CRM software - http://www.dmcsoftware.co.uk/Act-CRM/
Check out with the cloud based solution from Replicon. The tool is capable to manage the time, tasks, projects and yes also the expense management is also a part of the tool.
Regarding coaching tool I highly recommend Mindsonar. about schedule outllook works great! Regards from Mexico.
The important question is what is your budget is for these tool? There are so many amazing low cost options. We are a paperless company and do everything in the cloud. We have tried several programs and are very happy with Box.com for file management and collaboration, google mail & calendar and Insightly for contact and project management. All of these are no to low cost. Since they all integrate well with gmail, we are rather seamless in our ability to stay organized.
www.apptivo.com - this is a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software. You can manage your Project Management, Finances, Contacts, Customers and much more from one platform. We use that one for ages because it is reasonably priced (10 USD/month/person), comprehensive and easy to use. They have fast and exceptional customer service as well which is one of my high priorities. You can log in your customers and attach notes and documents under their profile which makes facts recall much easier. You can attach invoices to customer and contacts which makes accounting easier. I cannot speak highly enough of this software :)
Hi Caroline-
I also use The Coaches Console. I love it, and their customer support is efficient and helpful. Did the $147 include the shopping cart component? I thought their rate had gone from $49 to $99/month, and then the shopping cart could be added in addition to that. I have also heard of Satori which is pretty popular with coaches. Maybe they are less.
Good luck!
Danielle
Hi Caroline, I think WorkCompass could be the right solution for you. This is a cloud software that helps you manage goals, tasks and creates milestones for you and your team. I use it for coaching and it is fully customisable. You can find some details on their website www.workcompass.com as well as request a trial. It is however more a team software or employee performance software to manage goals and teams. If you need more something to manage clients I would recommend a CRM system. I personally use zoho.com crm as it is completely free up to 3 employees and also cloud based. It lets you manage leads and customer accounts and helps you bring customers down the sales pipeline from prospect to won/ lost sales, a follow up tool and additional tabs that you can use for coaching as well as goal and mile stone setting. I hope this is helpful. Good luck.
Thank you Carsten. Will take a good look at what you suggested. Good luck to you too!
Hi Caroline,
It could sound as a simplified solution, but have you explored your Microsoft Outlook? It has some great options for time and task management which could be integrated with your e-communication system. There are calendars, scheduling, events notifications, reminders and everything necessary for good organisational work.
Hi Dimitar, I use Outlook it works for me as a coach, but was thinking about getting my clients involved in their own journey right from an intial online request for coaching. Thanks for taking a moment to share.
First, what ever you choose should be cloud based. I would look at software specifically designed for coaching first. If they offer free trials then try two or three. If those don't fit your needs I would try you can try Salesforce.
If you need something free I would go with Google. Just remember, the trade off with Google is that nothing you store there is completly secure. Read the agreement you check off with them for more information/
What ever you choose, best wishes.
Cloud-based is exactly what I am looking for. Salesforce looked a tab to expensive in book.., but that is the general direction I am headed in. Thanks.
Please take a look at The Coaches Console. You can funnel your marketing, your invoicing, client support, content delivery - all via one dashboard:

I hope this helps!

Thank you Lisa. I took a look and it appears like the complete package but was thrown aback by the $147 per month price tag. There must be something more cost effective... will keep looking.
Cheers, Lisa
Microsoft publisher.
i hope you like it.
it is really great for all what you want.
thanks

Ihab. I always thought of publisher as a designer's tool. Will explore it's options. Thanks you.
Sounds like you need a calendar program, a project manger and repository of sorts.
For calendar - can't beat Google Calender which syncs to many computer based calendar programs. I use it to sync to PC, Mac, iPad and iPhone.
For scheduling, the two I use is TimeTrade and Genbook.
Are a repository for coaching and training materials, you can use Amazon, Vimeo, YouTube or several other cloud based services. I use JigSawBox for online coaching and training.
Google calendar is a gem. I will try the other two for scheduling. JigSawBox seems popular so I will definately delve into that as well. Thanks.
