Which is your preferred communication tool with your team?
Whatsapp, Email, Skype, or Hangout. What tool helps you communicate with your team easily and why do you think it is better than the others out there?
Our team is building Chanty - a team communication tool that is super easy to use, it combines text, voice messages, audio, video calls, and task manager. Basically, it's a one-stop-shop for all your team's communication needs. We've designed our product the way that's it organizes all your communication - you can have discussions in public, private and one-to-one conversations. Moreover, you can always find the list of the links, files, pinned messages you shared in a particular conversation, it's just a click away. Another thing that is just great about Chanty is that you can turn any message into a task and then assign it to your colleague if you need to. Been super helpful for thousands of our customers. I strongly encourage you to give it a try.

My preferred communication tool has always been Slack. It's cheap and easy to converse back and forth with multiple people on your team. My team uses the mobile application for Slack a lot to communicate when we're out of the office. You can create folders to categorize topics of conversation, as well as message team members privately. The downsides to Slack is that conversation points can easily get buried if multiple people are talking. If you don't have the paid version, your conversation gets lost after 10,000 messages. And file sharing isn't ideal. Often I will share a file and when I go to find it in the search it's not there, so I have to scroll back through the messages to locate it.
Slack is not a full collaboration tool, it lacks scheduling and task management capabilities, but if you are looking for a simple-to-use communication tool for your team, it is a great option. Most small teams can easily get by on the free version.
