What is the best live chat software for my website?
I am a marketing manager in a real estate firm and for my company website I need a live chat software which will help me to provide instant online support to my clients.
I would have to agree with most of the comments that said LiveChat. However, if all you need is a simple way to respond to your visitors in real time and you will be handling the chats, you can use ClickDesk (https://www.clickdesk.com/). Their free trial does not expire while LiveChat's free trial is only for 30 days. Click Desk has support ticket options, live chat, and can be easily integrated. The chat box itself has great customization options for being free! You of course have more control of of the design etc. when you upgrade, but If you only have one agent it's perfect. If you have more than one agent, I think LiveChat is the way to go. Hope this helped!

Our favourite system is https://www.zopim.com/. You can do a trial with them at no cost and in fact you can run a single user licence for no cost forever :-)
They are compatible with PHP, HTML and WordPress websites so you can take your pick. They also offer a mobile app but you have to approach this with care as it really depends on how reliable your mobile network is.
Although some large companies such as KIA use the product, we use this for our smaller clients and they love the simplicity of the product. You don't have to be a computer expert to configure or use it and pricing is based on the number of simultaneous agents logged in and not agents registered, which is really useful if you are trying to keep the costs down.

I would back the two answers above mentioning LiveChat. We used them starting back in 2010 for a couple of years until we started hiring in-house staff. We've also used them a few times to cover relocations on different projects. I can't talk highly enough of them.
Needless to say, they're not going to be the expert in your field that you are, but they have mostly resolved the language issues they experienced early-days and the skillsets are certainly increasing.
I wouldn't recommend anyone above them and I did a lot of research.

Hello Mia, wow great question I use clickdesk; myself. just about every software feature you might need, and you can implement it into your Google Apps account. some of the best times in these contacts are because you have a software program that makes it easy to use. I like the social toolbar feature too. It i9s much the same as both twitter and facebook in some respects. I am sure the also have a trial package to let you see if it is a fit with your business.
