WordPress vs Drupal: Which should I choose?
What do I choose for my company website? WordPress or Drupal? I did a search on Google, WordPress is the most popular software for a company website, but it's easy to attack. Someone recommended Drupal, which is very safe and fast to run, but it is difficult to install and use.
I would recommend going for Wordpress. The first thing you should consider is that it is a very popular platform and is using by a lot of users. Security is not the important thing you should consider because based on my experience of using Wordpress for ten years, my website still survival despite many attempts to attack it. Your website will be definitely safe as long as you keep it on a well-known web hosting provider, use a premium template, and do not install too many plugins from unknown developers.
I will suggest you use WordPress. Yes, it is easy to pick up quickly, user-friendly and make it simple for users, while Drupal is more complicated.
I think you should prefer Wordpress. To make it more secure there are additional plugins like Sucuri Security you can install on your site to prevent any attacks.
Hello Dong,
I`ve been running wordpress websites for years now.
It really depends on what you actually plan to do with it. If its just a presentation webiste for your company Wordpress is the thing to use. Easy to install, easy to upgrade and configure.
If you need something complicated, with high loads of traffic then wordpress might not be the right solution. I used to own a website that was sold for nearly 1 M usd, they kept the Wordpress, so you can even have million dollar webite running Wordpress.
Good Luck!
In my choice, i will suggest you use wordpress. Because almost all website owner happy to use wordpress. Wordpress is very easy to use, you will find out some pluging, which are help you to build a beautiful website.
Who says WordPress is not secure, it will be secure if you keep updating the WP plugins and install WordFence which is the best security plugin. WordPress and Drupal are both content management systems and to be honest there is no match for WordPress
