March 2012 - July 2013
Developed the rapid change management process and project timeline for fully integrating the Mission Support function across CBP in order to gain efficiencies and effectiveness in mission for FY13-17. Established benchmarks for the change process, executive communication strategies, and worked with financial information to define benefits in both savings and capability gains.

Director, Organization Design Division at U.S. Customs and Border Protection

November 2010 - March 2012
Led the organization design and deployment of organization for new functions, reset organization to meet new strategic initiatives and led consulting to develop and deploy the initial Table of Organization for all of Customs and Border Protection. Developed tools and techniques for analyzing group climate and successfully used the tools to intervene and remedy in serious organizational issues in four separate divisions in Federal Government and three private sector business units.

Director, Organization Effectiveness at U.S. Post Office

January 2008 - January 2010
Postal executive focused on organization design and effectiveness for U.S. Post Office and global components. Established the first east Asian postal unit focused on business development and intra-governmental postal agreements. Countries included China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, and Cambodia. Developed staffing models, including contractors; pay levels and promotion criteria, and provided guidance to executives in the execution of the new unit.

Senior consultant focused on assisting Fortune 100 clients achieve results. Assisted with management consulting, process redesign, business strategy development and planning, and executive coaching. Utilized applied behavioral science to enhance organization effectiveness. For one international corporation, realigned sales and accounts receivable to achieve a richer field for sales prospects and acceleration of accounts payable by 60%, equivalent to $30 million every month in unanticipated revenue.

Provided support for management audits; co-developed a competency-based performance management system which won an ASTD award. Served on the board of the Organizational Design Forum as a means to bring organizational science to State government. Established and launched a management consulting group that, with 4 counsultants, provided support to state agency executives and achieved over $3 million annually in customer verified benefits.
