What do you like most about your profession?
I have been on the internet since the time when 'search engines' were printed books with all 30,000 URLs printed in them. I like the fact I have been in the new longer than Google, Bing or Yahoo. I understand them and bend them to my will.
What are the most important things to consider when hiring a service provider in your field?
The most important thing is to check their portfolio. Look at their work - is a 2-line quote enough to hang your reputation on, or do you want full personal profiles that actually appear in search? Would you like your name attached to a piece of work like that?
How are you different than others in your profession?
Where a lot of consultants and now 'authority marketers' have about 2 minutes' more experience than you do, I have been busy inventing and perfecting press releases, editing for maximum exposure and creating true impact for my clients for years. I have been able to work 'behind the curtain' with some of the most influential marketers in the business.
