  1. Eat flaxseed in your oatmeal, cereal, yogurt or smoothie for a source of omega-3 fatty acids, fiber and lignan (an antioxidant that is known to help protect against breast cancer). Salmon is also high in these nutrients! Omega-3 is known for boosting cognitive function and focus.

  2. Add a piece of ginger to your tea or water to boost your immune system or ease muscle and migraine pains. It can also help as a decongestant or antihistamine.

  3. Dry brush your body to improve circulation and get rid of dead skin cells. The process also rejuvenates the nervous system!

  4. Write down things you are grateful for to help gain perspective before heading to the office.

  5. Look at a something bright-colored. Theorists believe it can stimulate your brain to get you up and moving.
