With three different pricing tiers, each for 50+ users, Bitium is a strong SSO solution for growing, mid-sized and large companies. One of Bitium's strongest elements is its ability to integrate multiple directory types. In addition to the common active directory integration and any LDAP integration, Bitium maintains integrations with Google's G Suite applications and any HR management system as well. Moreover, Bitium can serve as a primary directory. However, it's important to note that certain types of directory integrations are limited to specific pricing packages.

Pricing

Bitium offers three different pricing packages, each for a minimum of 50 users. The first plan, the Business plan, costs $3 per user per month and includes access to basic identity and access management features. The Business Plus plan, priced at $5 per user per month, expands on the offerings of the Business package by bringing in active directory integration, group management, advanced multi-factor authentication, and policy management tools. Finally, Bitium's Unlimited package goes for $8 per user, per month and boasts all the features of the Business Plus plan, plus automatic user provisioning, a key vault, a credential manager, and HRMS directory integration.

Key Features

Here are a few of the features of Bitium's SSO solution:

Administrative dashboard: Administrators can control the entire SSO ecosystem through a central dashboard. From one location, Bitium admins control both individual and group provisioning; set different roles and manage groups; set permissions and restrictions on an individual, role, and group basis; and oversee onboarding and offboarding. One-click offboarding allows administrators to quickly and easily remove a user who leaves the organization.

Reporting: Bitium offers a strong reporting feature that keeps administrators apprised of user activity and security. These reports are updated in real time with user and application logs, which show exactly which users are accessing which applications at what time and from where by employing IP addresses and geolocation. Bitium can also generate compliance reports for organizations needing to demonstrate compliance with particular government regulations, such as HIPAA's data security standards.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA): Multi-factor authentication is a must-have feature in modern day SSO. The ability to verify a user's identity with a two-step (or more) process is essential to avoiding data breaches that result in the loss of sensitive data, such as login credentials.

Drawbacks

Bitium is limited to organizations with 50 users or more, meaning it isn't necessarily the best solution for a small business. Moreover, certain features are restricted to higher pricing tiers with Bitium, some of which are available at all levels of their competitors' plans.
