BookedIN is an online appointment-scheduling tool that lets your clients set their own appointments from a free booking website provided to you as part of your monthly subscription fee. BookedIN charges a competitive price for its scheduler and allows unlimited users. This means everyone in your office can have access to the group calendar, see each other's schedules and book appointments that don't conflict with other appointments or meetings.

The Best Employee Scheduling Software of 2019

The Verdict

BookedIN is a good appointment-scheduling application from the administrative side. Its client tools were not easy to use. If a full set of administrative tools is critical, it might be a good fit for your company.

The mobile-friendly, online client scheduling portal includes an interactive appointment calendar; however, once clients click on the desired date, a lot of information is displayed for them to wade through. Available times for each individual appointment are listed, taking up quite a bit of space on the page and making it difficult to determine the exact time you need to schedule.

This scheduling software application provides intake forms that clients can fill out when they book their appointment online. This helps streamline your check-in process once clients arrive at your office. This scheduling software provides clients an instant quote so they know how much they are expected to pay. Clients can cancel appointments, though this is done by clicking on a link provided in their confirmation email.

BookedIN doesn't have nearly as many client scheduling options as the best appointment-scheduling software on our lineup. It doesn't let your clients set recurring visits nor does it send text reminders. It also doesn't adjust for different time zones or create wait lists.

On the administrative side, this application lets you set available appointment times for each of your staff members, track client histories and collect payments online when customers reserve their appointment. We liked that the functions and tabs were clearly marked and easy to find, though the process itself of setting up the system involved more steps compared to the best appointment-setting solutions. BookedIN earned an administrative interface navigation score of 80 percent.

You have the option to either embed the scheduler directly onto your company's website, or use a link button that redirects patrons to your custom booking website. We found the step of adding this button to a website to be an extremely easy, streamlined process. BookedIN earned a score of 100 percent in our embedding integration tests.

One important function of BookedIN as a meeting scheduler is the number of business programs it can integrate with. You can connect your scheduler to your social media pages, Outlook and both Google Calendar and iCal.

Some of your clients may find the process of scheduling their appointment through BookedIn overwhelming. On the plus side, BookedIN provides some convenient scheduling options to your clients. They can book recurring visits and, using the link provided within their confirmation email, return to the online scheduler to cancel appointments. On the administrative side, you can streamline client or patient check-in by providing intake forms your customers complete prior to coming to your office.
