The Corra Group offers an exhaustive list of preset packages in addition to a la carte services for businesses needing to conduct a background check on a potential employee. Some of its plans are more expensive than competing background check services. The company offers volume-based discount pricing as well as potential price matching for their services.

The Corra Group does not charge any setup fees nor is there a monthly minimum, which is great for small businesses operating with a limited budget. There are no hidden costs, and Corra Group lists pricing for their plans on their website. Costs are based on a per-report basis and do not include additional fees imposed by courts, agencies or educational institutions.

The agency offers criminal background searches, verification services, healthcare searches and much more in its variety of screening packages. Many of the packages have the pricing listed online; however, some do not.

The Corra Group offers other preset packages; however, for more information, including the price of each plan, you'll need to speak with a representative. It offers extensive a la carte searches, like health and drug screenings, including a five-panel, 10-panel, 12-panel and alcohol testing.

Pros of Using Corra Group

During our research, there were three features that stood out to us that differentiate Corra Group from competing services.

Customizable – The variety of tests and screenings available makes this agency a great resource for conducting many types of pre-employment screening. The service is highly customizable, with many options for a la carte checks, which is especially beneficial for employers who need unique and very specific background checks.

Invoice capabilities – Most background check companies require payment upfront, the Corra Group lets some businesses (those that exceed $500 in costs each month) pay by invoice.

Price matching – On some select services, if you find a lower price, the Corra Group will match that competitor's price. If you want to sign up with the Corra Group and find a service with lower rates, it's worth mentioning that to the representative when you inquire about pricing.

Cons of Using Corra Group

There are a couple of issues to be aware of with this background check service, including:

Website usability – As we mentioned, the Corra Group offers extensive background check services, filtering through its website to find the exact plan or service you need can be time-consuming. If you're not sure which package is right for your business, we recommend contacting the company. In addition to explaining each plan, they'll give you a price quote.

Limited online pricing – Not all of the prices for the Corra Group's plans and services are listed on the company's website. Certainly, this is not a deal-breaker, but transparent online pricing is helpful, especially for small businesses trying to estimate the cost of a background check.

Customer Service and Support

Corra Group has several resources on its website to assist consumers in learning about background checks and selecting the right plans for their businesses. Users can access the blog, read several articles and view a demo. You can easily contact the Corra Group's customer support team by phone, email or using the request form on its website.
