Corsica-based app builder GoodBarber offers businesses multiple options for creating modern, eye-catching native apps for Android and iOS or progressive web apps (PWAs). Businesses can choose from five pricing plans. There are two progressive web app plans: PWA Standard, which costs $15 per month for one PWA with 100GB of storage, and PWA Full, which costs $25 per month for one web app with 200GB of storage.

If you'd prefer to design a native app instead, there are three plans – two Android plans and then an iOS premium plan. Android Standard runs $32 per month and comes with one web app and one native Android app. Android Full costs $48 per month and also comes with one web app and one Android native app, but you also get access to advanced add-ons. The only option for publishing an iOS app is the premium plan. All plans come with a 30-day free trial.

Before you create an app, you choose the industry your app fits best. Categories include restaurants, nonprofits and more. You receive the same wide selection of themes and backdrops no matter what industry you select, and with GoodBarber's theme builder, you can edit any backdrop to create your own unique interface look, which you can apply across your whole app in just a few clicks. You can save up to three of your custom themes in your library to reuse.

There are eight sections of content management in this app builder, giving you a platform to input and edit articles, videos, photos, audio, maps, forms and calendars for your business's app. Despite the many features and options, GoodBarber is intuitive to use as a content management system for your app. The instant preview function is located in the center of the screen, while the options are available through a sidebar. That sidebar includes header, menu and content tools. The interface is aimed at introductory users, so coding is not necessary.

This web app maker distributes your native app in the Google Play Store (regardless of the pricing plan you choose), and on the iOS Premium plan, it distributes it in the App Store for you. It lets you remove the GoodBarber logo and add your own, and it integrates with most web content management systems, so you can link your app to your website to get updated content. With GoodBarber, your app is capable of indexing by search engines, and it also offers monetization options to advertise your app online.

For customer support, you can reach the company through an email form, once you've specified the type of problem you're experiencing. The support staff offers no assistance by phone. However, it provides an introductory Skype call for every new customer, and the site offers quick tutorials on using the platform. To help you stay current on app trends and new features you can add to your app with GoodBarber, the company maintains a blog with helpful insights. It also offers a 30-day free trial on its app maker without requiring a credit card number, so you won't be automatically charged if you choose not to continue working on the platform.
