Honeywell Options and Plans

Honeywell offers four main access control solutions: WIN-PAK, WIN-PAK CS 4.7, NetAXS-4 and NetAXS-123.

WIN-PAK is integrated security software that offers a cost-effective single interface with access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection. It is easily scalable and supports third-party integration.

WIN-PAK CS 4.7 is a managed access control solution that allows you to control multiple accounts from the in-house system. The web browser allows day-to-day account and door management with customized reports, door status summaries, and instant lock/unlock features. WIN-PAK CS 4.7 can support 50 to 2,500 accounts.

NetAXS-4 is a hybrid access control panel that is web-based and simple to install and operate. It allows you to secure doors, manage employee access, pull reports and remotely manage sites. NetAXS-4 adapts to existing IT infrastructure and is easily scalable. Cardholders can be assigned different access levels and given escort access for visitors.

NetAXS-123 is the updated version of NetAXS-4 and offers a faster, more intuitive user interface and the capability to manage two or three doors with door add-on boards. NetAXS-123 is suitable for single-site or multisite access control and can integrate with video and intrusion control.

Features

The system wants for nothing in emergency protocols – it integrates with fire, carbon monoxide and break-in alarms. It also provides detailed account management with customizable reports, instant lock/unlock, escort access, differentiated employee access levels, and easy scaling and integration.

You can customize lockdown procedures, designating entrances that won't be locked in the event of an emergency to allow for safe evacuation. The system can quickly suspend a credential if it is being misused, and you can delete a credential if it becomes lost or stolen, even from your mobile phone. The system can also detect when a door is held open for too long.

Honeywell's WIN-PAK access control interface is a single platform for all of Honeywell's video surveillance and intrusion detection features. Since the platform pulls everything together, you get complete reports and alerts for suspicious events. The system offers integrated access, video surveillance, intrusion and fire systems.

Supported credentials include biometrics, mobile, proximity cards, key fobs and stickers. Honeywell offers bar code readers, proximity card readers and contactless readers.

Honeywell offers three options for control panels: NetAXS-4, NetAXS-123 and PRO3200. Currently, the system has an expanded control panel that supports 50 to 2,500 accounts depending on which system you choose.

Customer Service

Honeywell provides a variety of professional support services. The Onsite Support Program facilitates the startup of your access control system, and provides ongoing maintenance support and troubleshooting. The Remote Support Program allows remote troubleshooting with a Honeywell professional for system diagnostics and software issues.

Honeywell offers support by phone during regular business hours during the week, as well as support by email that has a two-day response window. There is no live chat option, but you can coordinate a scheduled technical support session during weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Honeywell's website provides online demos, firmware and software updates, manuals, and user guides. It also runs a YouTube channel with how-to videos in multiple languages for its software, hardware and other system features.
