Inventory Pro is an inventory tracking solution lacking in several crucial features standard for inventory software. It earned one of the lowest scores for efficiency, and its product importing features were severely lacking. But it still may be useful if you need only the most basic of inventory tracking software.
Inventory Pro lacks any ability to input inventory using a barcode scanner or inputting lot or serial numbers. The only way to import inventory is either by manually inputting it into the system or importing an existing spreadsheet. There is no integration with eCommerce solutions.
We found this inventory management program fairly easy to use, but the interface was outdated and aesthetically unpleasing. For the most part, we had few problems with this inventory's accuracy, but there were times it wasn't completely accurate after a sale was finalized, so it is worth double checking your inventory against this software after purchase orders are entered into the system.
With zero integration with any Ecommerce platforms, this inventory software is outdated, only featuring the most basic features, such as low inventory warnings and the ability to add notes and photos to products on your list.
Sales and order tracking is done through purchase orders, which isn't as convenient as a proprietary or integrated point-of-sale system. The software can track which products, as part of an order, have been shipped which products are pending shipment. It also keeps track of a customer database and can deal in multiple currencies.
Inventory Pro exports data only in CSV format, the most common type used by businesses. You can set up custom reports with the parameters most important to you and your business, such as volume changes, asset totals and other stats. You will have to purchase the Deluxe version if you want to set up different access levels for employees; otherwise, the standard version allows any employee access to all the data.
Inventory Pro is available on Mac and Windows 10, 8 and 7. You can contact customer support through email or phone if you need help. The company's website doesn't have articles, tutorials or FAQs, nor is there a mobile app or browser interface you can remotely access.
Inventory Pro offers the very basic functions of an inventory management program, with standard data exporting, a customer database, low inventory warnings and basic customer support avenues. However, it has a poor user interface and lacks some importing features like barcode scanning and online Ecommerce integration.
