As its name suggests, PaySimple is a service focused on payment options for your business. With this service, you can easily create invoices, quickly email those invoices to your customers and offer them multiple payment options through a secure portal. If this is the extent of what you are looking for in billing and invoicing software, PaySimple is a good choice. However, this service lacks some invoicing options that many services offer.
This online billing software is extremely easy to use. The dashboard provides a quick overview of aspects of your business's billing, such as paid, overdue and pending invoices. You can keep track of your customers and all of their pertinent information, including their saved credit card and banking information. As you create invoices, you can add customers and products or services, and the information you enter saves for later use. You can add products and services to your item list as well, though that option is hidden under the Settings tab rather than grouped with some of the more obvious features.
You can set invoices to recur on a number of different schedules, as well as set a start and end date for the schedule, which is a useful feature for recurring invoices that we did not see with any other service we reviewed. However, this service does not offer some invoicing options found with other invoice programs, such as creating an estimate, quote or batch invoices for multiple customers.
This invoicing software does not offer a great deal of control over the look of your invoices either. You can add your company logo, contact information and a default message. You can also add links to your social media sites. Beyond that, invoices are fixed, though they look modern, clean and organized. This lack of customization is a downside if your company's aesthetic and personal flair is important to you.
PaySimple makes it easy for your customers to process payments, as you can accept credit cards, debit cards and ACH eChecks. They can log in to a simple portal via the email you send them and process payments that apply to their account with you. You can also process payments within the program or apply payments you receive by other means.

PaySimple focuses on making the process of receiving payments easier on both you and your customers. The customer portal gives your clients the freedom to process their own payments if they choose to, or you have typical payment options and can process them yourself. It allows you to manage customer information and store product and services information as well. However, it does not offer more complicated invoicing options, such as batch invoices and quotes, and you do not have the ability to personalize invoices.
